Beth Schecter, MPH, MBA--Executive Transition, Board Governance & Program Development:   

Beth Schecter is a nonprofit consultant specializing in executive staff transitions, executive coaching, program development, and board governance & leadership.  Beth holds a BS in Health Sciences, an MPH in school & community health, and an MBA in organizational leadership and has over 20 years of executive management experience.  In recent roles as Interim CEO or Deputy Director, she has tackled many staffing, fundraising & board governance issues while preparing the organization for new leadership.  Before she began consulting in 2010, she served as the Director of the Peninsula Region of Jewish Family & Children's Services, and she has served as the Executive Director of three non-profits-- Center for Human Development, New Connections and Community Violence Solutions.  She also served as Director of Business Development for WestEd, a leading national education research and development firm, and Director of New Business for United Behavioral Health, a for-profit managed health care company.  She has extensive fundraising experience and is well versed in negotiating and collaborating with foundations and government entities.  She has served on approximately eight regional committees, task forces & Boards.  Learn more about Beth at www.bethschecter.com
