Morrie Warshawski served as the Executive Director of three nonprofits before becoming a consultant in 1986. Since then, his practice has included work with nonprofits throughout the US, from small startups to large established organizations and incorporates the core values of thoughtfulness, transparency, creativity, and tolerance. His clients span the spectrum of State and Regional Agencies, Foundations, The National Endowment for the Arts, and numerous nonprofit organizations in many disciplines throughout the US. Morrie co-wrote a collection of case studies for Grantmakers in the Arts (Creative Family Giving in the Arts), designed and edited a website devoted to planning for the National Endowment for the Arts (“Lessons Learned”- www.nea.gov/resources/Lessons) and wrote A State Arts Agency Planning Toolkit for the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies.
